Ministers of Care

We are parishioners who care. Whether you have an illness or are unable to drive, we are people who would like to bring Communion to your home.

If you or someone you know would like Communion brought to them, please call: 460-0042.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society exists to assist those in need. We can help only those we know about. We hear of their need from people like you. Do you know of a parishioner in need of temporary assistance? Please call 460-0042 and let us know.

A Ministry of Prayer

Notice to All Future Hospital Patients

We gather as a community of faith every Monday at 7:30 p.m. to praise, worship and honor the Lord through song and prayer. All adults are welcome.

Due to newly implemented government regulations in all hospitals, parishes will NOT be informed of any parishioner's hospitalization NOR will that information be available to any visiting clergy and/or parish visitor. It is strictly YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to let us know of your hospitalization. A hospital can notify us ONLY IF YOU specifically request this AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION.

We certainly want to continue praying for and supporting those who are ill. Please don't feel it is a bother to inform us. You are important to us. Our Ministers of Care are available to bring Eucharist to the homebound during recuperation or extended illnesses. Please call Sr. Bernard at 460-0042 to arrange for this.

Attention All Crocheters, Knitters and Quilters       return to top

The Helping Hands Committee is assisting with "Project Linus", a nationwide ongoing effort to provide security through homemade blankets to seriously ill or traumatized children. An ideal blanket is new, any size, washable, and made with child-friendly colors. Fringe or strips of material hanging down are discouraged, as they may become caught in hospital equipment. Consider making a blanket to donate to the "Project Linus" chapter in Tinley Park. Contact the parish office for contact information.    return to top
