What is Christ Renews His Parish? CRHP (pronounced "chirp") is a spiritual renewal process which brings adult parishioners together in small groups in order to deepen their relationship with Christ. What happens on a CRHP weekend? The substance of the weekend is the presentation of personal stories in which individuals share their faith with you. Group discussion and response are invited following each presentation, along with scripture sharing, and the celebration of the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. You may participate as much or as little as you wish. Who may attend? Any registered parishioner of St. Francis who is Catholic and at least 21 years of age. Where is the weekend held? It is held at the St. Francis Center; starting Saturday 8:00 a.m. and going until Sunday 4 p.m. Sleeping accommodations are provided at the center. What about meals? Great meals and snacks are provided by the parish starting with the Welcome Breakfast on Saturday through to a Celebration Dinner on Sunday. What is the attire? Casual and comfortable clothes are suggested. What should I bring? Just bring your necessities as you would for an overnight stay. Bring a towel. Shower facilities are available. Also you need to bring a sleeping bag or blanket and pillow.
